KYL children’s department January events scheduled
WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library children’s department will be having a variety of events in January.
Cooking with Miss Doreen — On Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., third through fifth graders are invited to stop in and make a Pizza in a Mug with Miss Doreen. This activity is a great little lunch for kids on their last winter vacation day.
Weekly Programs
LEGO Build (Children’s Department) — Each Monday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. throughout January, there is the opportunity for kids to test their building skills. We have a variety of Legos and would love to see your creations. Bring a friend and get building.
Tales Around the Town — Kendall Young Library invites patrons to a Family Storytime each Monday evening from 5 to 6 p.m. (*note time change). Along with local Webster City businesses will be taking storytime on the road. The first event of each month will be at a designated location, hear a story and experience the host location. The following weeks will be held at Kendall Young Library with special activities and family experiences. January is full of excitement as we visit a new place and get messy with some projects. No registration required. Just follow the signs for the fun.
