“A Journey Through Parkinson’s Disease” educational series begins Jan. 13, 2026, at Friendship Haven, 420 Kenyon Road. The series runs every Tuesday from 3 to 4 p.m. through Jan. 27 and is from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. There is no cost to attend. If you are struggling with Parkinson’s disease or know someone who is, it is helpful to know where to find support on the journey. The series will cover causes, symptoms and treatments of PD and therapeutic activities that can be done in the home. Webster County Extension, along with Iowa State’s Department of Kinesiology, and Human Sciences Extension and Outreach are sponsoring the series.
