WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library, Webster City, will be having adult programs throughout the month of December.

Adult Afternoon Movie — Adults are invited to Kendall Young Library to start off the holiday season with the movie classic “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.” The movie will be featured in the downstairs meeting room beginning at 1 p.m. Thursday. We hope to see you there.

Adult Daytime Book Club — Kendall Young Library invites you to join in the December Book Club discussion about a variety of Christmas books. A surprise Christmas book is available at the Adult Checkout if you are interested in participating. We will be meeting on Dec. 9, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. to discuss. We will also be holding a cookie exchange for all that are interested in participating. A book for the January Book Club will be announced at this time.

Adult Evening Book Club — Kendall Young Library invites you to join in the Adult Evening Book Club discussion about a variety of Christmas books. A surprise Christmas book is available at the adult checkout if you are interested in participating. We will be meeting on Dec. 10, 6 to 7 p.m. January Book Club books will be available at this time.

Adult BINGO — Patrons are invited to join us at Kendall Young Library for an afternoon of free bingo. Make plans to join us for the fun on Dec. 16, form 1 to 3 p.m..

Books & Bourbon Silent Book Club — Kendall Young Library is working with Wildcat Distilling Co. to offer patrons a Silent Book Club. Adults are invited to gather at Wildcat Distilling Co. on Dec. 18, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Bring a book, grab a drink, and enjoy an introvert happy hour. This event will be held at Wildcat Distilling Co. in Webster City and is always the third Thursday of each month.

Adult DIY — Kendall Young Library will be offering Take & Make Adult DIY throughout December. Stop by the adult checkout desk for all the materials to make a Tin-Can Reindeer. Supplies are limited.

SPICE Club — Kendall Young Library invites you to add some spice to your life with the KYL Spice of the Month Club. We will be featuring vanilla bean beginning Friday. Samples will be available throughout the month while supplies last. This is a fun way to explore different cultures and flavors. Each month there will be a featured herb or spice. A limited number of kits will be available each month with a small sample, information about the spice, and a couple recipes to try.
