Fort Dodge Women’s Connection brunch set for Nov. 11
Fort Dodge Women’s Connection will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 11 at Tea Thyme, 2021 Sixth Ave. S. Reservations must be made by Friday by calling Kathy Meinders at 515-408-7981 or Marcia Johnson at 515-571-5443. Cost is $15 inclusive.
The speaker will be Cynthia Sheppard from Egan, South Dakota. Her talk is entitled “Thanksgiving for November.” Sheppard is a former teacher, former newspaper editor and writer of a weekly column, “My Side of the Fence.”
The special feature will be the annual fundraiser. Bring, buy or both. There will be baked goods, crafts and others items to purchase.
