KYL announces October teen events
WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will be having variety of teen events throughout October.
Teen Lounge — Patrons in sixth through 12th grade are invited each Tuesday in October from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Join us weekly for special activities, video games, snacks, crafts, board games, and more. This time and place is perfect to hang out with friends and is a come-and-go style event.
Homeschool TECH BUILD — Students will have time to work on a wiggle bot from 1 to 3 p.m. on Oct. 16 where they can build and modify their project. This is designed for youth second through 12th grade and will be held each month in the teen area. Parent participation is encouraged.
Early Out Movies — Kids of all ages are invited to enjoy a movie at KYL on Oct. 28 (“Toy Story 4”), and Oct. 30 (“Jumanji”), at 1:30 p.m. These days have an early release at Webster City Community Schools. Popcorn will be provided.
As always, every day the teen area located in the Kendall Young Library offers a variety of crafts, board games, community Lego build, Chromebooks, video games, books, and STEM Cart activities that are always available. Stop in for the fun.
