Ancient Technologies Day is today
Webster County Conservation is holding an Ancient Technologies Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Matt Cosgrove River’s Edge Discovery Center, 20 N. First St.
How did people do things back in the day? This event will have demonstrations and hands-on archeology fun. There will be flint knapping, atlatl dart throwing, clay pot making, basket weaving, loom weaving, hide scraping, historic children’s games, papermaking and guest speakers. The event is free and open to the public.
