KYL May teen events planned

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will be having variety of teen events throughout May.

Teen Lounge — Patrons in sixth through 12th grade are invited each Tuesday in May from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Join us weekly for special activities, video games, snacks, crafts, board games, and more. This time and place is perfect to hang out with friends and is a come-and-go style event.

Early Out Movies (8 year olds through 12th grade) — Youths are invited on Wednesday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. to watch “Mufasa.” Popcorn provided.

Homeschool TECH BUILD — Students will have time to work on a STEM Build of their choice on May 15 from 1 to 3 p.m. where they can build and modify their project. This is designed for youth third through 12th grades and will be held each month in the Teen Area.

As always, every day the Teen Area located in the Kendall Young Library offers a variety of crafts, board games, community Lego build, Chromebooks, video games, books and STEM Cart activities that are always available. Stop in for the fun.
