KYL February adult library special programs scheduled
WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library, Webster City, will be hosting a variety of special events early in February
Puzzle Exchange — Kendall Young Library is inviting patrons to bring in, up to two, like new puzzles to exchange for “new to you” puzzles. Beginning on Monday, patrons can drop off their puzzles and get a ticket(s) to be redeemed starting on Feb. 8. We ask that the puzzles you are wanting to share in the exchange be clean and have all the pieces. This exchange is focusing on puzzles 500 pieces or larger.
Valentine themed Charcuterie Workshop — Please register for our Valentine themed Charcuterie Workshop presented by Letter Eats by B on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. During this interactive session, you’ll be guided through the step-by-step process of styling a 10-inch by 10-inch disposable charcuterie tray to take home and enjoy. Tray will include a variety of meats, cheeses, fruits, veggies, crackers plus homemade vegetable dip. Our instructor Britt from Letter Eats by B, charcuterie business located in Boone, will share insider tips, tricks, and techniques to help you master the art of charcuterie presentation like a pro. What’s included: all ingredients and materials needed to craft your charcuterie tray, expert guidance and personalized instruction from our skilled instructor and a fun and interactive learning environment perfect for food lovers of all backgrounds. Cost is $53.50 per person.
Puzzle Competition (age 12 and above) — Register for a fast-paced Puzzle Competition at Kendall Young Library. Teams of four will compete to finish the puzzle first. Join us on Feb. 8 beginning at 10:30 a.m. to be the team to finish first. Call or register online. This event is free. Teams of four must include a minimum of one adult. Registration required.
