Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1023 S. 25th St., is holding an organ recital at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church. Steve Long, Prince of Peace organist, will present the recital. Long has 45 years of experience bringing the organ to life. The recital will include classical, traditional pieces and hymn-based selections. The congregation will be invited to join in several hymns.

Levsen Organ Company of Buffalo has completed the repair and upgrade of the pipe organ. The upgrade included a wide variety of sound adjustments that have added beauty to the hymns and liturgy played during worship, this include the preludes and postludes.

The public is invited to this special event and celebration. A freewill offering will be received with all the proceeds directed to the Prince of Peace Organ and Repair Fund. A time for fellowship and refreshments will follow the recital.
