KYL children’s department November events announced
WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will be hosting children’s events in November.
Tales Around the Town – Kendall Young Library along with local Webster City businesses will be taking storytime on the road. Each week families are invited to meet at a designated location, hear a story and experience the host location. November is full of excitement as we visit new places. No registration required. Just follow the signs for the fun.
Monday — Sunset Heights Elementary, 1101 Boone St., 5:30 p.m. Storytime
Nov. 11 — Interior Spaces, 631 Second St., 5:30 p.m.
Nov. 18 — Riverview Early Childhood Center, 705 Odell St., 5:30 p.m.
Nov. 25 — Kendall Young Library, 1201 Willson Ave., 5:30 p.m.
Wild Things (PreK-2nd) will meet on Tuesdays from 3:45 to 5 p.m. in November. This time will offer a variety of stories and activities each week. Join us for all the adventures.
Fuzzy Ducklings (under 3 years) will meet on Wednesday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in November. This parent/child experience is fun for everyone.
Tween’s Time (3rd to 5th grade) will meet on Thursdays from 3:45 to 5 p.m. in November, except on Thanksgiving Day. They will explore crafts, STEM, cooking and so much more.
Homeschool TECH BUILD — Students will have time to work on a Rubber Band Racer on Nov. 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. where they can build and modify their project. This is designed for youth third through 12th grade and will be held each month in the Teen Area.
Early Out Movies (8 year olds to 12th grade) — Youths are invited on Nov. 13 from 12:30 to 2 p.m., to watch “Inside Out 2.” Popcorn provided.
