KYL announces children’s department weekly September programs
WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library, Webster City, will hold weekly story/activity programs for all ages throughout September.
NEW — Tales Around the Town – Kendall Young Library along with local Webster City businesses will be taking storytime on the road. Each week families are invited to meet at a designated location, hear a story and experience the host location. September is full of excitement as we kick off this new program. No registration required. Just follow the signs for the fun.
Sept. 9 — Kendall Young Park, Prairie Stone Shelter, 5 p.m., bring your own picnic, 5:30 p.m. storytime.
Sept. 16 — Webster City Street Department, 100 E. Ohio St., 5:30 p.m.
Sept. 23 — Kendall Young Library, 5:30 p.m.
Sept. 30 — Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce, 628 Second Street, 5:30 p.m.
Wild Things (preK-second) will meet on Tuesdays from 3:45 to 5 p.m. in September. This time will offer a variety of stories and activities each week. Join us for all the adventures.
Fuzzy Ducklings (under 3 years) will meet on Wednesday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in September. This parent/child experience is fun for everyone.
Tween’s Time (third through fifth grade) will meet on Thursdays from 3:45 to 5 p.m. in September. They will explore crafts, STEM, cooking and so much more.
Early Out Movies (8 years through 12th grade) – Youth are invited on Sept. 18 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. to watch “Migration.” Popcorn will be provided.
