KYL announces children’s department September special events

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library, Webster City, will be hosting some special events in September. These are family friendly and all are invited.

Magician MiKayla Oz — As we kick off the excitement of fall programming, magician MiKayla Oz will be entertaining us on Sept. 12 at 5:30 p.m. This event will be fun for the whole family, so make sure to mark your calendars.

Wilderman’s Family Friendly Show — Kendall Young Library will be hosting Chad Elliott as he performs whimsical lyrics with a wild imagination of storytelling that entertain all ages. The Wilderman’s Family Show will be visiting on Sept. 14 at 10:30 a.m., with lunch to follow. This exciting event is open to everyone. For more information, visit: https://www.wildermansbooks.com

Early Out Movies (8 years old through 12th grade) — Youth are invited on Sept. 18 from 12:30 to 2:30p.m. to watch “Migration.” Popcorn will be provided.

Homeschool TECH BUILD — Students will have time to work on a dragster electric car on Sept. 19 from 1 to 3 p.m. where they can build and modify their project. This is designed for youth third through 12th grade and will be held each month in the teen area.
