MANSON -- Tickets for the Manson Meridian Singers' 52nd annual production, "People Get Ready," are now on sale.
Performances are set for 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, in the Kate Toben Auditorium at Manson Northwest Webster High School.
This year's show will feature musical variety that reaches across multiple generations, including songs by the Beatles, Bob Dylan and Merle Travis. There will also be popular songs, like "Pure Imagination" from the movie, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," as well as several familiar religious numbers.
Under the direction of Andrea Christians, of Pocahontas, and accompanied by Trish Mernka, of Rockwell City, the group has been rehearsing since October to prepare for the upcoming show.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students. There will be no reserved seating.
