WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will be having adult programs throughout the winter.

Adult book club: Kendall Young Library invites you to join in the February Book Club discussion on the “Killers of the Flower Moon” by David Grann. We will be meeting on Feb. 13 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. to discuss. A book for the March book club will be announced at this time.

Adult DIY: Kendall Young Library will be having adult DIY on Feb. 20 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. As part of the Retro Craft Series we will be making buttons and keychains that are unique to your design. It is a great time to explore your creative side. Bring a friend and join us for a fun craft time. This is a free event and no sign-up is required.

Seniors Share: Kendall Young Library is hosting a Seniors Share event on Feb. 15 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Seniors are invited to gather and share a hobby, collection or short story with others. A time limit will be established based on interest. Patrons that would like to participate by listening are also invited.

Free seed giveaway: Kendall Young Library and Nine Square Feet will be offering a variety of seeds to assist patrons planning their spring planting. Seed will be available on Feb. 24. Make sure to stop in and get seed while supplies last.

Community survey: Kendall Young Library is working to meet our mission of a “Welcoming Community Center that empowers lifelong learning for all!” Now through Feb. 15 we are asking patrons to take a short survey as we develop a strategic and facility plan for the future to better serve you. SPICE club: Kendall Young Library invites you to add some spice to your life with the KYL Spice of the Month Club. We will be featuring ginger. Samples will be available throughout the month while supplies last. This is a fun way to explore different cultures and flavors. Each month there will be a featured herb or spice. A limited number of kits will be available each month with a small sample, information about the spice, and a couple recipes to try.
