Registration for Summer Storytime at the Fort Dodge Public Library begins Thursday.

Storytimes begin June 7-8 and conclude July 12-13.

Children who are 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 years of age are eligible for registration. Children under 3 must attend with a caregiver in the room, while those over 3 have the option to go into the room without a caregiver.

Children younger than 2 are welcome if a caregiver will be in the room with an older child.

Children older than 6 are welcome to attend if space allows.

Due to space limitations, only one caregiver per family is allowed.

Storytimes will be held 10:30 to 11 a.m Wednesday and 10:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday.

During storytime, children listen to stories, learn fingerplays and take the first early steps toward literacy.
