Rowan St. Patrick’s Day parade and celebration today
ROWAN — Rowan 20th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade and celebration is today. An Irish stew lunch or hot dog and chips and drink is 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at United Church of Rowan, west door, for a freewill offering. There will be a bake sale during lunch. The parade begins at the school events center at 1:30 p.m. Anyone interested in participating in the parade should meet on the east side of the school/Iowa River Players Theatre. Parade lineup begins at 1 p.m.
