Fort Dodge Women’s Connection to meet
Fort Dodge Women’s Connection will meet at 9:30 a.m. July 12 at Tea Thyme, 2021 Sixth Ave. S. Reservations must be made by July 8 by calling Kathy Meinders at 515-408-7981 or Marcia Johnson at 515-571-5443. Cost is $15 inclusive.
The speaker will be Nicolette Lane, of Indianola. Her talk will be “Hers is an Intriguing Story of Facing a Chronic Life Challenge with Hope.” Lane is a recently retired middle school teacher. She shares how trust in God continues to sustain her through the challenges of chronic Lyme disease. The special feature will be beekeeper Britta McCollum who is a busy high school senior and manages hives and sells honey.
