OTHO — The Otho Betterment Committee is once again hosting a chili cookoff.

The fifth annual chili cook-off and Bloody Mary contest is Sept. 18 at Otho City Park.

Bloody Mary public tasting is from 1 p.m to 2 p.m. Cost is $5.

Chili public tasting is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cost for a bowl and spoon is $5.

Kids activities and a bounce houses will also be taking place.

A bake sale, concessions, 50/50 raffle, grill raffle, bat raffle and silent auction will also be part of the fun.

A coed slow pitch softball tournament and bags tournament will be played as a fundraiser for local youth girls fast pitch softball. To sign up call 515-571-9692.
