Manson Meridian Singers rehearsals to begin Oct. 1

MANSON — Anyone who enjoys singing is welcome to attend the Manson Meridian Singers’ first rehearsal of the season, as the group begins preparations for its 50th anniversary show.

Rehearsals will begin at 7 p.m. Oct. 1, at the Manson Mennonite Church, 1310 Eighth St., Manson.

All singing parts are needed: soprano, alto, tenor and bass.

Rehearsals will take place every Thursday through December, with the exception of holiday weeks, and then become twice weekly in January leading up to the show in mid-February 2021.

Director Mary Jo Laupp is returning for her second year with the group, along with accompanist Trish Mernka. This year’s show is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 20, and Saturday, Feb. 21, in the Kate Toben Auditorium at Manson Northwest Webster High School in Manson.

Social distancing will be observed and masks are strongly recommended.

Membership dues are $30.
