FD Public Library summer reading program continues

The Fort Dodge Public Library children’s summer reading logs are available in the children’s department of the library. Children birth through 14 years of age are invited to participate in this simple program that does not require a computer. Children and their families can read books and participate in a variety of fun activities to encourage literacy. When the log is completed each child will receive a treat bag.

Families may come in to the library to pick up a log or call the children’s department at 573-8167, ext. 6242, to arrange to pick up and return a reading log if they choose not to enter the library. The program is sponsored by Friends of the Library. The library is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
