Kendall Young Library Festival of Chocolate is March 29

WEBSTER CITY — The Friends of Kendall Young Library annual Festival of Chocolate will be 2 to 4 p.m. on March 29. This is a chance to share with fellow chocoholics, support this annual library fundraising event and win prizes. Entries may be made to one or more of the four categories: brownies/bars, cakes/cupcakes, confections/candy and cookies. A panel of judges will select the top entries in each category and award prizes. Entry forms are available at the library checkout desk or on the library’s website www.kylib.org. There is no cost to enter and participants are admitted free to the festival. Entries will be accepted until March 21.

The Festival of Chocolate is sponsored by the Friends of Kendall Young Library to help fund programs and activities not covered in the library’s normal operating budget. The revenue supports Kendall Young Library summer reading programs and other library services and projects.

Tickets for the Festival are available for $10 at the library checkout desk or may be purchased at the event. For more information, contact the library at 832-9100.
