FDPL Brown Bag Briefing Thursday will inform about hospice services

The Friends of the Fort Dodge Public Library are holding a Brown Bag Briefing from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday in the library meeting room, 424 Central Ave. The program is free. Bring a sack lunch, coffee and water will be provided.

The program is “UnityPoint Hospice — A Compassionate Community Service,” presented by Mary E. Larson, volunteer coordinator, UnityPoint Hospice. You never know when you will be faced with making end-of-life choices for a loved one. Do you know what services UnityPoint Hospice offers? Come and learn about how this critical comfort care program supports our community. A DVD titled “New Rules for End of Life Care” will be shown. Come and get your questions answered about hospice care.
