Lifetree Cafe topic is family time

The importance of coming together with loved ones and nurturing relationships will be highlighted at Lifetree Cafe at noon and 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

The program, titled “Come Together: The Healing Power of Friends and Family,” features a German film about the heartwarming — albeit unorthodox — efforts of a grandfather to bring his family together during the holidays.

“Time and energy can run in short supply around the holiday season,” said Lifetree representative Craig Cable. “This Lifetree program offers an hour of conversation dedicated to reminding us all of the importance of slowing down and enjoying relationships.”

Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Lifetree Cafe is located at Cana, 18 S. Third St.

Lifetree Cafe is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual, comfortable setting. Questions about Lifetree may be directed to the Rev. Barbara Huisman at 302-8036.
