Registration for preschool Summer Storytime at the Fort Dodge Public Library will begin Thursday.

Storytimes will start June 13 and will conclude July 19. During the six-week session, children listen to stories, rhymes, learn fingerplays and take their first steps toward early literacy.

Registration is accepted on a first come first serve basis until all sessions are filled.

There is no fee for this program. Children ages 2 through 6 who have not yet attended kindergarten are eligible. An adult caregiver must accompany any child under three years of age during storytime.

Registration by the child’s parent is requried in advance of storytime day.

Half hour Storytime sessions will be held starting at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays.
