McSweeny’s to hold two recitals
McSweeny’s School of the Performing Arts will present a violin recital at 7 p.m. on Thursday and an instrumental recital at 7 p.m. on Friday, at the school, 1633 N. 29th St.
The violin recital will feature the violin students of Melissa Gillette. Students range in age from 4-years old to high school age. Music featured will include traditional Suzuki repertoire and fiddle tunes.
The instrumental recital will feature the instrumental students of Kristin Bodholdt. The performance will include misic played on piano, guitar, flute, saxophone and clarinet. Admission to the recitals is free and open to the public.
