Garden Extravaganza is Saturday
POCAHONTAS – Pocahontas Garden Extravaganza will be from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Pocahontas Fairgrounds. Admission is $3 at the door, children enter for free. Featured will be local experts sharing their gardening expertise, businesses with the latest in garden varieties, tips and educational handouts. Many of the exhibitors will have merchandise for sale. Informational presentations will be held at 9:15 a.m. and at 10:30 a.m. in the fair office building. There will be drawings for door prizes. Pocahontas Garden Club will serve coffee and rolls at 9 a.m. for a nominal charge. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for $6.
