Extension Health Fair set in Pocahontas
POCAHONTAS – Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Pocahontas County will be holding a Health Fair in celebration of Extension and Outreach Week from 3 to 7 p.m. on March 30 at the Expo Center located on the Fairground in Pocahontas.
A burger meal will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. for a free will donation.
Join us for a night filled with information from ISU Extension and Outreach Specialist, Pocahontas Community Hospital Pocahontas County Public Health, and Pocahontas County Home Care. The Health Fair will include:
Pocahontas Community Hospital – Prevention screening for humans and houses, car seat information, carbon monoxide detector information, and ambulance tours.
ISU Extension and Outreach specialist – Health & nutrition, derma scanning, family finance, agricultural and farm stress.
Pocahontas County Public Health – Radon kits for purchase, blood pressure checks, bioterrorism booklets, and a chance to win a weather radio.
