FD Quilters Guild to bring guest speaker for workshop
The Fort Dodge Area Quilters Guild is bringing Susan K. Cleveland to town for a trunk show and a workshop.
Cleveland, a designer, author and teacher, will present “My Electric Quilt Pageant” trunk show at 7 p.m. April 8 at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 N. Ninth St. Cost is $5 admission for non-members.
Cleveland will also present a “Piping Hot Binding Workshop” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 8, a hands-on workshop with sewing machines. Cost is $45 for members and $50 for non-members, plus supplies. Class size is limited. Checks should be made payable to: FDAQI.
