Bill Peterson

MOORLAND – Bill Peterson, of Moorland, will celebrate his 90th birthday with an open house luncheon from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 8 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1436 21st Ave. N., Fort Dodge.

His family includes his wife Janice (Struecker) Peterson; Sandy Peterson and Jack Harbin, of Lenox; Marilyn and Rock Behne, of Story City; Bill Peterson, of Des Moines; Joyce Peterson, of Fort Dodge; Keith Peterson and Pam Newkirk, of Moorland; Marie Berg and Tom Holm, of Fort Dodge; Chuck Peterson and Annemarie Gogerty, of Fort Dodge; Rich and Valerie Peterson, of Fort Dodge, and daughter-in-law Stephanie Peterson, of Fort Dodge. Peterson has 24 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. His son Paul Peterson and grandson Ben Peterson are deceased.

He was born on Feb. 8, 1936. He served in the National Guard, worked at New Idea and farmed for many years. He and his wife are retired.
