Chuck Danielson, of Fort Dodge, formerly of Dayton, will celebrate his 85th birthday on Aug. 26.

His family includes his wife of 66 years, Linda; Randy and Cindy Danielson, of Dayton; Terry and Pam Danielson, of Redfield; Gina and Kevin McLaughlin, of Pella; Rob and Melissa Danielson, of Storm Lake; and Nick and Libby Braafhart, of Pella. He has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was born on Aug. 26, 1940. He is a farmer, retired rural mail carrier, retired remodeler and renovator of old homes.
