Doug and Lesslie Fors in 1974

Doug and Lesslie Fors, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 17.

Their family includes Shannon and Chris Mills, Fort Dodge; Brandon and Tami Fors, Castle Rock, Colorado; and Wendy Lewis, Las Vegas, Nevada. They have five grandchildren

Lesslie Wright and Doug Fors were married Aug. 17, 1974, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge. He is retired from Fort Dodge Animal Health and she is retired from Electrolux/Frigidaire in Webster City.
