Sam and Bev Ashton, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sept. 2 at Christ Lutheran Church, 2220 10th Ave N.

Their family includes their children, Brad Ashton and Kristina Schultes, and their spouses. They have three grandchildren.

Sam Ashton and Bev Morrison were married Sept. 2, 1974, at Christ Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge. He is a retired Air Force captain, and they currently own and operate Fort Dodge Coin and Stamp.
