Dennis and Marlene Berte, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 14.

Their family includes Stacey and Tim Dunn, of Clive, and Tim and Leah Berte, of Ankeny. They have four grandchildren.

Dennis Berte and Marlene Erickson met at the Rialto movie theater in February 1969 and were married on June 14, 1974, at Corpus Christi Church, Fort Dodge. They have lived in Fort Dodge for their 50 years together.
