Phyllis Skinner

GOLDFIELD — Phyllis Skinner, of Goldfield, will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 17 at the Goldfield American Legion Hall, Goldfield.

Her family includes her husband Joe; Kurt and Linda Skinner, of Stockton, California, and Ken and Annie Skinner, of Humboldt. She has two grandsons.

Skinner was born on Feb. 19, 1934, in Gilbert, and graduated from Humboldt High School and Iowa Teachers College (University of Northern Iowa). She taught school in Waverly and Goldfield.
