Jill and Steve Lawler

Steve and Jill Lawler, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary on Friday.

Their family includes Tammi Lawler, Alexandria,Virginia; Amy and Mike Johnson, Fort Dodge; Andrea Bohnenkamp, Grimes; Lindy and Brock Smith, Gowrie; Lori and Matt Geerdes, Phoenix, Arizona. They have seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Stephen Lawler and Jill Fischer were married on Feb. 1, 1969, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pocahontas. They moved to Fort Dodge and have been here since.
