The Rev. Joseph and Callie Presswood, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at Second Baptist Church, 1827 Fourth Ave. S.

Their family includes Joseph Presswood Jr. of Lawrence, Kansas; Daisy Mure, David Presswood, Georgia Cason and Cathy Presswood, all of Des Moines; Calvin Presswood of Fort Dodge; and Penny Lewis of Manson. They have 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

They were married on Aug. 29, 1953, in Kemper County, Mississippi. He is retired from Land O’Lakes and she is retired from Trinity Regional Medical Center.
