WEST DES MOINES — Steven and Deborah Heddinger, of West Des Moines, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 4.

Their family includes Jami Touney, Jill Keane, Laura Mergenmeier and Grant Heddinger. They have six grandchildren.

Deborah Hollister and Steven Heddinger were married on Aug. 4, 1973, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. He dedicated his career to serving the financial needs of those in the Fort Dodge community. He spent the last 12 years of his 35-year profession as a partner of Central Financial Group and retired in September 2019. She spent countless hours volunteering within the Fort Dodge Catholic Schools, and ultimately settled into joining Central Financial Group where she assisted her husband. She retired in 2016.
