EMMETSBURG — Paul D. Ascherl, of Emmetsburg, formerly of Fort Dodge, will celebrate his 90th birthday on May 31.

Ascherl was born on May 31, 1933. He farmed northwest of Fort Dodge. He also worked at Geo. A. Hormel in Fort Dodge and Beloit, Wisconsin, for many years.
