Her family includes Donna Bakkerub, of Nesbyen, Norway; Gary Hintch, of Belleville, Wisconsin; Paul and Bell Hintch, of Jefferson City, Missouri; and Linda Hintch, of Ames. She has four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her husband, Donald Hintch, and son-in-law, Andres Bakkerub, are deceased.
Arlene Hintch was born and raised on a farm outside of Harcourt. She married Donald Hintch in June 1952.
