Ruth L. Rogers

Ruth L. Rogers, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate her 90th birthday on Dec. 7.

Her family includes Rebecca Romine, Scarlett and Dan Potratz, M. Bruce Rogers Jr., Martin and Sheryl Rogers, Sandy Rogers, Jackie and Howard McCullough, Paige and Steven Nordmeyer and Miles and Laura Rogers. She has 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Ruth Leone Heitner was born Dec 7, 1932, on the Heitner farm northwest of Fort Dodge. She attended St. Paul Lutheran School and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High. In 1950 she married M. Bruce Rogers Sr. and they were married for 68 years.
