Alice Wehrspann

Alice Wehrspann, Fort Dodge, will celebrate her 100th birthday with an open house from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 15, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1436 21st Ave. N.

She was born on Oct. 14, 1922, and grew up near Whittemore. She married Herman Wehrspann and the couple resided in Fort Dodge. She spent many years working at Rodenborns and Pan O’Gold Bakery. She has been a great caregiver to many of her nieces and nephews and their families.
