Thomas and Patricia Weishaar will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday.

Their family includes Paul and Sarah Weishaar, of Rochester, Minnesota; John and Amy Weishaar, of Charles City; and Ann and Matt Jorgensen, of Waterloo. They have six grandchildren.

They were married on Aug. 12, 1972.
