Ron and Paula Vance

Ron and Paula Vance, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday.

Their family includes Alicia and Mike Merrill, of Wichita, Kansas; Amber and Steven Appleby, of Quincy, Illinois; and Tyson and Amber Vance, of Jefferson. They have seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

They were married on Aug. 19, 1972, at Corpus Christi Church.
