Marilyn Kiliper

Marilyn Kiliper, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate her 95th birthday on Thursday.

Her family includes Lisa and Steve Turner, of Urbandale; Randy and Marianne Kiliper, of West Okoboji; Terry Kiliper and Deb McCrady, of Fort Dodge; and Laurie and Rick Wagner, of Fort Dodge. She has nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Marilyn Shaw was born July 7, 1927, in Forest City. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High and Iowa State University in home economics. She was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. She married Jerry Kiliper in 1950. They were married for 44 years before his death in 1995. She still lives in her home they established in 1955. She has been a longtime active member of Grace Lutheran Church and a time of fellowship will held there after worship on July 10.
