Roy Chase

Roy Chase, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate his 90th birthday on July 23 at an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 S. Ninth St..

His family includes Ann Chase, his wife of 63 years; Tami and Todd Lines of Omaha, Nebraska; Sandi and Jeff Abbas of Adel; Barbra Chase and Nabil Haddad of Littleton, Colorado. He has seven granddaughters and one great-grandson.

Chase was born on July 26, 1932. He is a former KVFD-TV weather and sports announcer, KWMT morning show disc jockey, and Boone Speedway announcer.
