Joyce Heddinger

Joyce Heddinger, of Fort Dodge will celebrate her 90th birthday on June 7.

Her family includes Don and Paulette Heddinger, of Fort Dodge; Jane Heddinger Hambleton, of Fort Dodge; Steve and Deborah Heddinger, of West Des Moines; and Barb and Don Fontenot, of Lees Summit, Missouri. She has 11 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren. Her husband, Dale, and son, Jim, are deceased.

Heddinger was born June 7, 1932, in Osceola. She married Dale Heddinger on Aug. 19, 1950, in Rolfe. She worked for Geo. A. Hormel for 18 years, and retired from the Fort Dodge school system in 1994. She currently volunteers 20 hours a week at The General Store.
