Bill Peterson

MOORLAND — Bill Peterson, of Moorland, will celebrate his 85th birthday on Monday.

His family includes his wife, Janice; Paul and Stephanie Peterson, of Eagle Grove; Sandy Peterson, of Lenox; Marilyn and Rock Behne, of Story City; Bill and Christi Peterson, of Des Moines; Joyce Peterson, of Fort Dodge; Keith and Catherine Peterson, of Moorland; Marie Berg, of Fort Dodge; Chuck and Lisa Peterson, of Fort Dodge; and Rich and Valerie Peterson, of Fort Dodge. He has 24 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. His grandson, Ben Peterson, is deceased.

He was born on Feb. 8, 1936. He served in the National Guard, worked at New Idea and farmed. He and his wife are both retired.
