Lonne and Karen Anderson, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 20.

Their family includes Scott Anderson, of Fort Dodge; Brooke and Grant Vangilder, of Omaha, Nebraska; and Rusty Anderson, of Minneapolis. They have six grandchildren.

Lonne Anderson and Karen Johnson were married Feb. 20, 1971, at Lehigh United Methodist Church.

He owns and operates Anderson Implement, and farms near Fort Dodge. She owns and operates Hearts Desire Beauty Shoppe & Sun Street Collections clothing boutique, in Otho. They both dedicate a great deal of time and support to the Webster County 4-H program, and the Webster County Fairgrounds. In August 2020, they were inducted into the Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame.
