LaVanne Vinchattle

LaVanne Vinchattle, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate her 95th birthday on Feb. 1.

Her family includes June Bacon of Fort Dodge; Sally Ackerson of Gowrie; Dean and Vicky Vinchattle of Gowrie; and the late Dan Vinchattle. She has 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Her husband, Beryl Vinchattle, is deceased.

She was born Feb. 1, 1926, in Gilmore City. She graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1944. She married Beryl Vinchattle in 1946. They were married 72 years before his passing. They farmed near Gowrie for many years before moving to Fort Dodge. They served the Lord pastoring and evangelizing.
