Doris Swanberg

Doris Swanberg, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate her 85th birthday on Wednesday.

Her family includes her husband, Lowell Swanberg; Ronnie and Sally Swanberg, of Fort Dodge; Sandy Swanberg, of Fort Dodge; Lon and Sandy Swanberg, of Otho; Vicky and Greg Rink, of Manson; and Sheila and Marvin Bacon, of Otho. She has 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Her son, Johny Swanberg, is deceased.

Doris Marsh was born on Jan. 13, 1936, in Callender. She married Lowell Swanberg in 1954. After their five children were grown, she went on the road trucking with her husband until they retired.
